The formula
Six oils. Every one of them on the label.
No proprietary blend. No active complex you're told not to worry about. Here is everything in the pendant, and what each oil is there to do.

Does the heavy lifting
Javanese Citronella
The most widely used botanical insect deterrent there is. If one oil is carrying the blend, it's this one.

The sharp one
Tasmanian Eucalyptus
Clean and camphor-like. It cuts through the blend and is one of the scents insects move away from fastest.

The one they hate
Alpine Peppermint
Cooling to us, overwhelming to a flea. That gap is the whole point of the blend.

The soft note
Alpine Chamomile
The gentlest oil in the mix. It rounds off the sharper ones so the pendant is pleasant to stand next to.

Makes it last
Himalayan Cedarwood
Dry and woody. Insects avoid it, and it slows the whole blend down so twelve months is realistic.

The quiet powerhouse
Maluku Clove
Small amount, big effect. Its active compound, eugenol, is one of the most studied botanical deterrents there is.
Sealed inside the pendant and released into the air around the collar — not inhaled at concentration, not applied to the skin, not swallowed. That is the difference between this and an oil diffuser.
The part nobody explains
The flea has to bite your dog for it to work
Oral flea and tick treatments don't repel anything. They turn your dog's blood into the thing that kills the parasite — which means the bite always comes first.
The bite is the delivery method
Nothing keeps the flea off your dog. It lands, it feeds, and only then does the treatment do its job. Your dog is the bait.
There is a warning on the box
In 2018 the FDA alerted owners and vets about neurologic reactions — tremors, ataxia, seizures — reported with the isoxazoline class, and asked makers to add label information. Uncommon, but on the record.
And it starts again next month
A dose, a reminder, a payment. Twelve times a year, every year, for as long as your dog is alive.
Source: FDA Fact Sheet for Pet Owners and Veterinarians about Potential Adverse Events Associated with Isoxazoline Flea and Tick Products (fda.gov, 2018). Worth saying plainly: the FDA still considers these products safe and effective. We think you should see both halves of that and decide for yourself.

TRY IT RISK-FREEThe questions you were going to ask anyway
Aren't essential oils toxic to dogs?
Undiluted oils on the skin, or a diffuser running in a closed room, genuinely can be. That is a real risk and we are not going to pretend otherwise. This works differently: the blend stays sealed in the pendant and releases into the open air around the collar. Nothing is inhaled at concentration, nothing touches the skin, nothing is swallowed.
I looked up these oils and some sites say toxic to dogs. What's going on?
You will find that, and we would rather explain it than hope you don't look.
Those warnings describe three situations: a dog swallowing the oil, the oil being applied undiluted to their skin, or a diffuser running in a closed room. Route and dose are what make a substance harmful — not the word 'essential oil' on its own.
Here the blend stays sealed inside the pendant and releases into open air around the collar. Not on the skin. Not in the mouth. Not in a confined space. If your dog is prone to seizures, pregnant, nursing, or under eight weeks, speak to your vet first — and don't let them chew the pendant.
Do I need a prescription or a vet appointment?
No. No script, no consult, no monthly pickup. It ships to you and you clip it on.
My dog already has fleas. Will this fix it?
No, and we would rather tell you now than after you have paid. This is built to stop an infestation starting, not to clear one that has already taken hold.
Does it survive swimming and rain?
Yes. The oils release from inside the pendant, so getting wet doesn't wash the protection off the way a topical treatment would.
What if it doesn't work for my dog?
Send it back within 30 days and we refund you in full. No form to fill in, no photos to send, no argument.
